Kitchen Herb Garden

Now that I have all the herbs I need (plus an added lime thyme and BBQ rosemary) I needed a spot to put them. Joe had pinned (yes, JOE pinned something!) this cedar planter:

And he got to work.

I got a little excited to place my plants.

Joe was kind enough to work around my herbs.

In no time, I had a beautiful cedar planter. For free! Yes, we are STILL using cedar from that sauna. (The first cedar project was this table. Who knew a sauna would be more enjoyable broken down?)

Unsurprisingly, it cleans up really well.

That little bench on the house wall was a last minute addition. The size of the non-planter area is small, and we were unsure what would go there. What else? More plants.

This is soooooo awesome, and exactly what I didn't even know I wanted or needed I am letting Joe off the hook for Mothers Day. In actuality, Joe was kind enough to put this all together to my liking as my Mothers Day present, so there is no "letting him off the hook". Love it!

  2. It looks so beautiful. You may need to do something to keep Theo out of it. The difference between JOey and me, he actually does something after he Pins something.

  3. Don't worry about Theocat. She doesn't seem to like the smell of the herbs! Good thing we didn't buy any catnip.
