Here is the free shadow box. Or maybe this is the one I paid for, either way, shadow box.

I asked Joe if he had a Dremel so I could cut a slit in the top of the box. He said he had something better for that job.

A biscuit cutter was the perfect sized opening for my project. Only, it didn't cut all the way through the frame opening. Luckily, he finished it off with a drill and file.

While he was in "his shop" finishing up the slot, I took the backing of the shadow box in to my own "workspace" to spruce it up. Had I thought ahead, I would have bought some pretty paper, but in my excitement to get it done, I settled for a light blue paper I had in my stash. I used my favorite Mod Podge to affix the paper to the backing.

A quick online search for the perfect quote, a few minutes with Photoshop and one print job later I had a little heading for my project.

Now it is ready to reassemble. Tada! I made...

A ticket holder for all our travel, entertainment and life experience ephemera!
What am I talking about? Well, Joe and I tend to hold on to things. Actually, we hold on to everything! And the little tickets and slips of paper were starting to pile up. So when I saw a solution on pinterest, I knew it was right up our alley. Our first addition to the ticket collector is a special one.

These are the movie tickets from our first date. Both of ours. See? We are meant to be. (And yes, our first date was to the movie Cloverfield. That movie is how we even went on a date! Joe was the only person who would venture to the theater to see the monster/apocalyptic movie.) Next up...

A ticket from our second date! The first date went surprisingly well! I planned this date and even made Joe pay for the ticket and drive us. Haha. I can't believe there was a third date. So add that ticket to the shadow box.
Also included in the ticket collector is our...

Ticket to Machu Picchu!

My visa in to Nicaragua!

And our tickets to the very funny Louis C.K. Hilarious tour.

Aww, the good times we have had will forever be on display! Let's see how fast we can fill it up!
