Easter

I love holiday weekends, even though they go by so fast. This weekend we celebrated Easter with my family at the ranch on Saturday, and Joe's family on Sunday. While at the ranch Ruby got to drive the tractor, dye easter eggs, and get closer than she was comfortable with an alpaca. On Sunday she had some quality time with her cousins playing in dirt and with bubbles, and got to see a classic car. But first up, Ruby's easter basket.

Last year, the Easter bunny brought Cardinals gear. And then the Cardinals went on to win the World Series. This, year the Easter bunny brought Ruby a Blues shirt. Here's hoping! Easter bunny also brought a book, a Mickey Mouse shirt and toys for the sandbox.

The easter bunny also dropped off some gifts at Grandma Mary's house. And by gifts, I mean Easter Bunny dropped off his kids, or nephews or cousins... Ruby is now the proud owner of 4 more pink stuffed bunnies. (But not a new iPad, she just got to play with it while she patiently waited for her dinner to cool down.)
For Easter day, she wore a hand me down dress from my cousin in a size 2T. Ahh! When did she get so big!?

She is pointing for me to take a picture of something else. The something else was the other highlight of the weekend. A sweet surprise paint job on Grandpa's 195x Ford Customline. Look how proud he and Grandma look with the car.
